Jesus Christ Superstar comes to the opera house of the State Theatre Nuremberg on November 5, 2026. Andrew Lloyd Webber's rock opera combines biblical themes with powerful rock music, a choir, and a large-scale stage production.
The focus is on a musically intense engagement with well-known biblical themes. The rock opera brings these themes into a modern, musically impressive form and combines dramatic action with energetic sounds. The choir enhances the stage action and, together with the rock music, creates a grand, multi-layered theatre experience.
